Buying questions
Does an iPhone or iPad subscription unlock Mac?
No. The phone and Mac apps are independent products with separate licences. Choose the app and tier needed for your workflow.
What is a diagnostic capture, and which tier imports it?
iPhone keeps a detailed Wi-Fi log that apps cannot read live. You save it as a sysdiagnose on the same phone and import it into nOversight Pro, which adds retries, channel busyness and Apple’s roaming record to your walk. On a Mac, importing one needs Mac Pro.
What is the difference between Mac Basic and Mac Pro?
Mac Basic gives live analysis and the map, for this Mac or a connected iPhone or iPad. Mac Pro adds recording sessions to a library, the Access Points view, PDF reports and importing logs and sysdiagnose files.
Can I try Mac before buying?
Yes. Start a 3-day Basic or 7-day Pro trial from the Mac app. Without a trial or licence the Mac app does not analyse.
How do I activate a Mac licence?
After buying, the licence code arrives by email. Open the licence window in the Mac app from Help › Manage License and enter it under Your licences.

Do I need dedicated survey hardware?
No. nOversight observes the connection on an iPhone, iPad or Mac. It complements other network tools and does not replace predictive design or spectrum analysis.
