Effective 2 June 2026
nOversight software licence (EULA)
This End User Licence Agreement (“Agreement”) is between you and Numerous Networks Limited (“Licensor”) for the nOversight software applications and related materials (“Software”). nOversight is a product name; Licensor is a small UK company.
By installing or using the Software, you agree to this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the Software.
1. Licence grant
Subject to payment of applicable fees (if any) and this Agreement, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the Software for your personal or internal business purposes in accordance with the documentation and your subscription tier.
You may not:
- Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Software except as permitted by law
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software except where law expressly allows
- Rent, lease, sublicense, or sell access to the Software
- Remove proprietary notices
- Use the Software to build a competing product or to violate law or third-party rights
2. Ownership
The Software is licensed, not sold. We and our licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in the Software.
3. Updates
We may provide updates or changes. Updates may be automatic where supported by the platform. This Agreement applies to updates unless we provide new terms.
4. Third-party platforms
Apple (iPhone / iPad)
- The Software is available through the Apple App Store
- Apple is not a party to this Agreement and has no obligation to provide support or warranty for the Software
- Your use must comply with Apple’s App Store terms and applicable Usage Rules
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this Agreement and may enforce it against you
Paddle (Mac)
- Mac licences may be sold by Paddle.com as merchant of record
- Payment, tax, and refund processes for those purchases are subject to Paddle’s terms
- This Agreement still governs your use of the Software
5. Data and privacy
The Software processes Wi‑Fi and related data on your device by default. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information when you use the site, contact us, or use platform billing. You are responsible for how you export, share, or use reports (including compliance with laws and client contracts).
6. Subscription and trials
Paid features require an active subscription or purchase through Apple or Paddle. We may offer free tiers or trials; we may change or end them at any time. If a subscription lapses, paid features may stop working until renewed.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Software is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of measurements, or uninterrupted operation.
Wi‑Fi metrics depend on device hardware, OS version, and Apple APIs (including optional Shortcuts on iOS). We do not warrant that the Software will meet every survey or troubleshooting scenario.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
- Licensor is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity
- Licensor’s total liability for any claims relating to the Software is limited to the amount you paid for the Software licence in the 12 months before the claim, or £100, whichever is greater
Nothing in this Agreement excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law (including death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
9. Termination
This Agreement ends if you breach it or if we end your licence. On termination you must stop using the Software and delete copies where reasonable. Sections that by nature should survive (ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, governing law) survive.
10. Export and compliance
You agree to comply with applicable export control and sanctions laws. You represent you are not barred from receiving the Software under such laws.
11. Governing law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
